Bought a computer Gigabyte computer case from CompUSA. In the box was missing 6 plastic parts that hold the drives in place - 3 large, 1 medium, and 2 small. When I talked to CompUSA, they referred me to Gigabyte... Opened a ticket with Technical Services which sent me to Customer Service.

Customer Service was rude and apparently didn't like it that it was bought at CompUSA. Now I'm told I have to go dig up my "invoice", scan it and email it with a description of what I'm missing and they "may replace them IF its within their terms".

In short the attitude was 1) "you dared buy it at compusa ... they're going out of business" (not all of them -- and NOT the one I bought it at, so it wasn't discounted if that matters on what you should get in the box...) and 2) "dont bother me with this". Apparently there's a big black market for this little plastic parts that are pretty much custom to Gigabyte cases.

I used to deal with CompUSA in Florida.   But no more.  They are rude and more interested in the dollar than customer satisfaction.  They claim to be an affiliate of TigerDirect.  They should remove that association from CompUSA. Nothing against TigerDirect.  I've  pruchased from them for years....good Tech and Customer Support.   Close down CompUSA.
