Gigats.com They say they'll find you a job. They're just selling your information. The jobs are fake. I know, I worked for one of their vendors. Internet

Beware of Gigats.com.  If you are on a job search engine other than Careerbuilder, Monster, Indeed, etc., always scroll down to the bottom of the page.  If it is a real job, it won't say "sponsored by Gigats.com".  If you see any mention of Gigats.com, get out of that webstie and DO NOT provide any personal information.

About 6 months ago, I worked for a company by the name fo Education Dynamics.  Their main purpose is to pair up prospective students with online colleges as well as on campus universities in the FOR PROFIT sector.  Some, in the not for profit sector.  The bottom line is, our main supplier of leads was Gigats.com (they have numerous other names and websites but you will eventually land on a Gigats.com sponsored website).  What they do is copy and paste job openings from what was once a legitimate job.  Then, they call you and make you think you're being considered for the job as well as many others that you might be a "good fit" for.  They go through their pitch and wind up convincing most people that if they want to get the job and move up, they need to consider higher education.  At that point, they would transfer the call to us at Education Dynamics and we would pitch them with our script and boom, they were speaking with a college.  The college would be billed for a new lead at that point.  The person on the other end will only hear from Gigats again when they were interested in recycling the lead.

This is bait and switch at its most legal extreme.

Beware!
