fun4fun capitalizes on eBay's Buyer protection service; she purchased a kate spade bag from me, new with tags, which was delivered on a Friday evening.  On Sunday evening, I received an email from her, claiming that I had sold her a "used" bag and providing pictures of what looked to be like two (2) small pencil marks.  She paid $125 for a $328 bag and wanted an additional discount.

I have been an eBay seller for 15 years and have a 100% rating.  I shipped a new (white) bag to this buyer, and have no idea if she used it for the weekend and then decided she didn't like it or what. I refused to discount the bag any further.  She then filed a complaint with eBay. After several nasty emails, I called eBay and they told me to give her a discount or refund her money - because of the Buyer Protection Program, any decision would be favorable to her.

So now, I have no idea of what kind of shape this handbag is going to be in when I receive her return, but it has to be sold as used.  Gina Velleca is a nasty piece of work.

In addition, in the year that she has been an eBay member, she's made over 500 purchases, but only a handful (less than 10) of sales - all for lots of 100,000 Iraqi dinali.  I know this is a scam (the people buying the dinali think it's going to appreciate in value), but it's not against eBay rules to sell currency.
