Ginny's Approved Credit is a SCAM Clinton Iowa
Over the past two years we have received catalogs once a month from Ginnys. A few days ago, my wife decided to take them up on their "pre approved credit of 1000 dollars" to order some new slip covers. The bill totaled 288 dollars after tax and shipping charges.
A day later we get an email stating that a "letter has been sent to us regarding their credit decision". Looking at our account on the website, they wanted us to pay 50% of the carges before the order is processed.
Ginny's does not ask your SSN, income, nothing when pre-approving a client.
I emailed the company and told them that if they DO NOT want us as a customer than to just cancel the order and stop sending catalog.
This is the response I received:
Dear Gregory,
Thank you for contacting customer service.
We have removed your name and address from our mailing list. Please discard any future catalogs you receive.
We appreciate the opportunity to be of service.
Sincerely,
Ginny's Customer Service

This company is obviously a scam from what I have read online. Furthermore, their customer service leaves much to be desired.
