FOX 6 investigative reporter John Mattes first broke the story how Girls Gone Wild was marketing videos for only $9.99 consumers found the company tacking on huge fees. Thousands of consumers called it a rip-off on ripoffreport. After our story aired an attorney sued calling it deceptive advertising. Video part 1 Video part 2

I ORDERD A GIRLS GONE WILD VIDEO ABOUT A YEAR AGO, REMIND YOU ONLY ONE VIDEO. SINCE THEN I HAVE TRIED NUMEROUS TIMES TO CONTACT THESE PEOPLE AND STOP THE VIDEOS FROM COMEING.

I CONTACTED THEIR OFFICE ONCE AND A EMPLOYEE TOLD ME HE HAD NO RECORD OF ME IN THEIR FILES. I INSTRUCTED HIM ON WHAT WAS GOING ON AND HE ASSURED ME THAT HE WOULD CHECK INTO IT.

SINCE THEN I HAVE RECIEVED TWO MORE VIDEOS THAT I HAVE RETURNED AND NOT RECIEVED A CREDIT TO MY ACCOUNT.

I SENT THEM AN EMAIL TO: WEBMASTER@GIRLSGONEWILD.COM TODAY TO SEE IF THIS METHOD WOULD WORK. SOME ONE HERE THINK THEY CAN HELP ME OUT?

You could cancel your credit card, but that's a little drastic. File a fraud complaint and get a chargeback for the money they charged. Also, according to federal postal laws you may legally keep any item sent to you by a company like G.G.W. and you do not have to pay for it.

Time Life books used to send consumers unordered books with an insert proclaiming a "30 day free trial." If the customer did not return the book in 30 days they automatically billed them. What a ripoff that trick used to be because consumers would receive the book well into the 30 free trial.

The postal authorities created that law because of schemes like that.
