I ordered the videos from the TV ad GIRLS GONE WILD with Snoop Dog. I repeatedly told the sales person that this was to be a one-time purchase. I only wanted the videos from the TV ad and nothing more and I was under the impression that this was understood.

I received the videos a few weeks latter and thought nothing of it until I received a notice from my auto insurance company stating that they billed my account as they do every month but this time my account had insufficient funds. I contacted my bank only to find that GGW not only charged my Visa debt for the videos I ordered last month but now this month I was charged $24.99.

I immediately called GGW at 310-566-1063 to find out what was going on and was told by a customer service person that I joined a monthly video club and that was the charge for this months video. Needless to say I was very livid with this so-called customer service person who in so many word called me a sucker and that I should bit the bullet. I then told this C/S person to remove me from their system ASAP and if I see any more charges I will file a class action suite against GGW.

I finally received this video and with out opening it wrote, REFUSED on the box and delivered it the poster master himself. A month and a half pasted yesterday so I called GGW to check on my refund and they said they received the video a few weeks ago and my refund was in the works. I called the bank this morning and found that I had a reverse charge for $19.99 from GGW. I guess I will have to bit the bullet on the return shipping charge but time will tell if I get any more charges and if I do I will update this report.

This is not the way to do business. I saw the VH1 show on the owner of GGW and he is making millions ripping AMERICAN consumers off and getting away with it.
I really hope that someone out there with some sort of legal back ground can find a way to shut this guy down for good and even more then that have him return the millions he stole from the AMERICAN consumers.

#2Consumer Comment

Wed, May 12, 2004

I thought I was over with this but I recieved
another video yesterday.I followed there
directions exactly by sending a letter to cancel
my subsription. They have my credit card number
so I suspect they figured they could start sending
more videos and make more money.Wrong!I'm pissed
and will not pay that portion of the bill if
there 25 and somthing dollars shows up on my bill.
After I sent the letter I didn't recieve any videos for 2 or 3 months. Stop these assholes now!
Thanks,I hope this works!Stop them now.They give
internet buying a really bad name and that hurts
every one.Sincerly Gregory Merz.
