I have a HUGE problem with this "company"!  They won't open their books and actually show money being wired or transferred from their parent scam company Halsell Builders, Inc. to the Bali Orphanage. Also the fact that they can't show that they are a true Non Profit.  I tried looking this company up on the internet to find out if they were a legit company in CA state and I could find nothing, to think I almost fell for this scam myself.  Its easy to become a penpal of an overseas struggling Orphanage for the sake of profits.  Why would someone do this?  Purely, for making profits.  I am happy that I found these posts:

Give Jewelry

Take Money Scam

Clearly Charlie Halsell is going to lie as long and as much as possible to try to continue to mislead his fan base in his recent Twitter rebuttal titled "Sticks and Stones", what a scumbag.  Charlie Halsell dances around the real issues brought up in the post I provided as my reference.  Clearly what is happening here is Emotional Appeal with no HARD FACTS that the money you pay for this Overpriced Jewelry is actually going toward hungry children by every sale.  Its so classic you have no idea, Charlie won't open his books, so this raises huge concerns.  Sadly, he is giving nothing toward the cause of feeding these poor parent-less children and leaving them to become "Sticks and Bones", while he lives a great lifestyle of practically doing nothing and being an up and coming yuppy in expensive California, with all those funds he claims on a per-purchase level children are fed one week of food.  And since I can't find where Give Jewelry is actually a legitimate company, this means they are not paying taxes, demand the EIN you need to know what you are sending you money toward.  If its truly a Non-profit which it isn't, but let's just fantasize (Since Charlie the pied piper has us already in pot-head daze from upon initial contact with his so called non-profit) then he should be able to GIVE US all a NICE TAX WRITE-OFF RECEIPT, like every other normal Non-Profit does.  If he's a FOR-PROFIT Corporation (Shame, shame, shame on you) then we need an EIN so we can 1099 his a*s.

Wouldn't you have concerns if someone peddling a fake business (For sure an invalid non-profit), danced around VALID TRANSPARENCY CONCERNS on where the money is going????  We have seen this too often where we feel we are donating to a real cause but we are simply MANIPULATED by our EMOTIONS.  This guy (Charlie Halsell) is good at deceiving the masses, he should be ashamed of himself, one day you will be brought to account for your actions, I just hope sooner than later, thank you to those who posted the truth I am grateful I was not taken by these scams.  The best way in my humble view to directly help these orphanages is to contact them directly and see if you can mail over a care package or funds in some way, they can let you know.  Just think $50 probably could feed the entire Orphanage for a week.  How about this NOBEL IDEA, "LET's ELIMINATE the MIDDLE MAN" and see our money go further!!  Take a look at the currency exchange rate.

Bali Currency Exchange Rate

Look for yourself keep in mind, that the cost of living is extremely cheaper overseas and it does not cost nearly as much to live as it does here, maybe that's why it makes sense for a business owner of a fake business to pretend to be emotionally attached to this company but only to pocket most of the money for themselves.

Glad I didn't get took by "Take Money"  lol.
