I called an ad about marine mechanics specialist for jetskis.
He came to my house. Drove a station wagon. Wife was in car.
Said that he had many years experience. Seemed to know what was going on with the machines.
He diagnosed the problem. Gave me an established price for labor and parts of $750.
I gave him monies to order and buy parts. Big mistake.
He answered a few phone calls and told me the parts are not available yet.
After a couple of months, he didn't call or show up again.
