Complaint Review: GLASS CITY CYCLES

On Feb 3rd 2012. I went to  Glass City Cycles at 5740 Secor Road Toledo Ohio.
The owner Mr Shaun Gotha  talks to me about  repairing  my motorcycle. We then set up a firm scheduled  date for me to bring him the  cycle to be repaired.

 He tells me to bring it on Friday  Feb 17th 2012.  I wait the two weeks and then make arrangements to ride  the cycle out to his shop,  quite a number of miles to get there. I had  a relative borrow  a car from another relative to come there and pick me up after I took the bike to  Glass city for repair.

  When I get there , Shaun the owner  starts telling me  he cant get me in now and  it will probably be two more weeks. What !!! ?  I hope you can  get it in today I just took a long cold ride out here  and  messed up two other peoples day to KEEP the  Scheduled appointment  we made .

   He then  starts whining and crying about how he dosn't have time for this and ask  me  with a very sarcastic attitude   ( quote ) " Don't you have a phone ) " ?  I reply yeah , I have a phone Don't you ? Its the same phone number You took that you should have  used to call me  within the past two weeks, to  let me know you couldn't keep our scheduled appointment that you made.

  So now, instead of apologizing and using some business sense , and maybe  saying he was sorry and trying to  reschedule  without the poor attitude. THIS guy  begins ranting , raving, Cussing me out, calling all Bikers a bunch of choice  names cussing us all.

  Calling my Bike a piece of ****  telling me  to leave and never come back. Rather than getting into  a physical altercation with this (    )  , I just got on my bike and left. My ride showed up  and I got  her to  leave with me.

  Not only did I lose money  in gas in the bike, It also cost  for the car the driver borrowed.
After going to a new Reputable shop with  Business people who know how to treat a customer
We were late getting the car back to the owner

  Now the owner of the car we  borrowed had a very important meeting and  was now late for that also
I personally would never take any cycle  not even a baby toy try cycle  to this  place .
Glass City Cycles  has also had other complaints from customers. Some where reported to the BBB in our area and  I  am thinking there are others that have not been. I did find some other  complaint on line

  I  will never go  to Glass City Cycles Secor rd Toledo Ohio  ever again,  and am telling all my Biker friends and anyone else I talk to about the horrible lousy experience I have had with this shop. Of course  He will have a different story , places and people like Shaun Gotha always do.

  I have  numerous text messages from him and threats . I am keeping them all for future reference.
I am wondering if this guy  has a medical problem  maybe  Bi-Polar,   I have seen others with this  problem go off on a tangent like he did . Horrible management skills. He Needs to take a course in public relations . I also suggested he read the book " How to win friends and influence people"

One thing for sure,  I would never do any  business with this outfit and hope no one else  has to go through this kind of garbage with them either. I  will stick with the well known reputable shops from now on if I need work done on my motorcycle
