I proved that they lost my glasses in the US mail because they shipped via USPS. My first pair I love, and I refuse to be partial to being able to see better and getting complimented on my glasses. However, I am going to have my eye doctor put them to the test also. The deception is in their false claims of customer satisfaction. All said and done, they could care less in my opinion. If they would have just sent the second pair Fed Ex as they did the first; my bi-focals would not be lost. I offered to buy a second pair after trying to find my non-exisant sales rep. It all started with me not being able to fill out the Online form right and my calling and speaking to the woderful part playing sales rep named Morty. Morty was so re-assuring, I even emailed a compliment on his servce before I recieved one of the two pair.
The second pair, or the bi-focals came from a differnt lab, per Morty. They never showed up and Morty never replied to my emails. Astoundingly, I felt had, and agry because of the care-less hap-hazzard attitudes of the GlassesUSA representitives that followed. I was litterally, caught off-guard because I never spoke to a customer inconsiderately or uncompassionately during my 10 years of customer care. I've earned an AA, BSEB, and an MPA. Now, I am a consumer watch dog, and I only tell the truth. This comany knows the law well because they can claim the order was completed over the phone when it started with the internet. Their customers unknowingly take all the risk and do most of the ordering and shipping detail. This is how I know that I am right. The first pair of glasses shipped as requested, FED EX. The second pair was lost because I'm fortuneate enough to live accross the street from the beach at a resort that does not have US mail boxes; therefore, Morty and I reached an agreement that the glasses would ship FED EX.
Legally, they may have me. Financialy, it is not worth it to me to persue an amount under 200 dollars. When I think of the sales this review will blow; that's priceless to me. They can have their glasses and I never want to speak or hear their name again. Perhaps in a couple of weeks I'll provide another poor review elswhere if I don't recieved the money or the glasses. I will be certain to have my vision checked and return them per their policy also. I don't believe I will wear them though. I was only trying to save time and money by going to GlassesUSA, and hope others head this warning. GlassesUSA talks the talk but does not walk the walk. In fact, they are very un-American for some strange reason.
