Complaint Review: GLD My Score Identity Protect

GLD My Score, Identity Protect Charges you multiple $1 charges daily without explaination. Impossible to cancel. Had to get the bank envolved. Las Vegas Nevada

 I went to a site to find a Identity Protection service. I thought I signed up for Identity Shield that was recomended by another site. A pop up screen for Identity Protect showed up and I continued with the sign up process.

 A few weeks later I was charged a fraulent charge from another site I never visited $49.95. I immediately called the bank to report it. I did not see the connection at the time. When I started doing some research I found a roport about the Identity Protect being linked to other websites that were charging customers for services they did not sign up for.

  I went to cancel my subscription only to receive a busy singal at the other end of the number provided for cancellation. The terms of conditions page on the website provides a address for cancellation but not a person or department to address the request to. No official cancellation form is provided. I have to cancel the card number I provided and request a new one. On top of that I am now looking into other identity theft services to protect me from the one I thought I signed up for.

  Please do your research before signing up for any service online. Do not be distracted by pop up windows that look similar to the one you were just on. You will regret not noticing the difference after you have to go throught so much trouble to correct it later.
