Complaint Review: Gleaton & Associates Inc- Residential Property Management

2014 BBB RATING: F- DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! This company is a a scam. TOO MANY customer complaints due to Defrauding clients. Employees are all related and engage in a scheme or systematic course of conduct with the intent to defraud and/or obtain property of others by means of a false and/or fraudulent pretense, representation or promise. I have never paid my rent late yet I can't get hold of anyone. They never come and fix anything and have horrible communication skills They are all rude and moved us in before the property was finished. They said they would come and finish putting in cabinet doors, drawers, carpets, etc. They don't take care of the properties that they "claim" to manage. I once contacted the agency regarding a repair and the assistant property manager, Justin Gleaton, said, "Don't you have a man around to do that?" It has now been eight months and we have basically given up. They told us there would be a huge legal battle if we tried to break our lease. When I spoke with the broker/owner, Calvin Gleaton, he actually cursed me out and was very rude even though we were the ones with the issues. We even actually once had a payment that we put in Mr. Gleaton's hands get misplaced because the office is run so horrible with unprofessional and illiterate people being replaced frequently. They also refused to return our deposit even though we didn't "violate" ANY of the "ridiculous" rules and terms included in their "LEASE". READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING IF YOU MUST! These people call themselves a premier property management agency. That's a joke. I've never worked with a more deplorable, unorganized, untrained, unprofessional group of people. STAY AWAY! To anyone looking to rent a home with this group, please do your homework and don't fall in the trap!
