Jon Scott Ashjian, the writer of this Ripoff Report, has never been a client of Glen Lerner. Instead, Mr. Lerner’s firm sued Mr. Ashjian for failing to repay a loan to their client. See Brands v. Ashjian, Clark County District Court, Case No. A629196.
Mr. Lerner was successful, and his client won a judgment against Mr. Ashjian in the amount of $195,765.70.
Mr. Ashjian did not pay. Instead, to avoid paying his debts, Mr. Ashjian tried to declare bankruptcy in 2012. See In re: Jon Scott Ashjian and Bonnie Lynn Ashjian, United States Bankruptcy Court, District of Nevada, Case No. 12-15335-lbr. On October 12, 2012, Mr. Ashjian's bankrtupcy case was dismissed for abuse, with no discharge of his debts. In other words, Mr. Ashjian tried to abuse the bankruptcy system to get out of paying his rightful debts. Thankfully, the court refused to allow it and Mr. Ashjian still owes the debt. To this day, Mr. Ahjian continues to refuse to pay the amounts owed.
Mr. Ashjian is a defeated adversary of Mr. Lerner -- not a client. Mr. Ashjian's Ripoff Report is nothing more than sour grapes. Glen Lerner and his attorneys continue to provide the highest quality legal representation to their injured clients.
