Complaint Review: Glenn A. Jarrett

Glenn Jarrett is a typical SNAKE lawyer who should be avoided at all costs. This guy really screwed up a very simple and straightforward thing and refuses to own up to his mistakes. He is always pointing fingers and when he runs out of energy doing that, he will send you threatning letters full of legal language that are, in essesnce, meaingless. 

Glenn and I live in the same community so it was easy for me to trust him at first. About a week after we began working together, I bumped into Glenn at the supermarket on Sunday around 11am. He had a very strong odor of vodka eminating from his mouth.

Not only do we see each other in the neighborhood each day, but he also recently took on a case with me, so I assumed that he would recognize me. I went up to say hello to him, Glenn gave me a very dirty look before realizing who I was, he nodded, I came closer and said hello again, which is when I noticed his bloodshot eyes and could smell the odor. He did not say a word to me after.

After this, I did not trust him to handle the estate project. I called him and told him to please eliminate our contract. He told me it was irreversiable and then followed up by sending me very threatening letters. The last letter he gave me, he drove to my house and knocked on my door until I answered. He handed me the letter, said nothing, and I could see the same drunken bloodshot eyes I saw that Sunday morning.

He seems like a loose cannon and not someone I would trust with any details. He told me one thing, told my family members other versions of what he told me, and ultimlately, what he said he was going to charge us ended up being increased without any communication with us. I can only guess his coworkers need to cover his slack because someone like this cannot stay in business on their own. 

Avoid this lawyer. Go find a lawyer who will say hi to you if they see you in public, and whose personal life most certainly does not include getting drunk before noon on a Sunday.
