Global Authority, Inc. Company steals items. It is a complete fraud. Beware!! Internet
This company apparently is capitaliziing, best I can figure, on the fact GAI went bankrupt in 2009. They are using the same name and trying to lure unsuspecting people like myself to send them merchandise. They are a complete fraud IMO. I sent in a 1981 Topps pack to be graded and they basically stole it. I am putting the details below on what I submitted to the BBB in Iowa. But based on them not being a member of the BBB, I don't expect anything to happen.
If anyone wants to get together in litigation, please let me know. I want them stopped.
BBB Complaint:
I sent in an order to get a 1981 Topps Football pack to be graded via express service (a 15 day turnaround) on 5/19/2012. It had a Joe Montana rookie on the top of the pack and is valued at approximately $250.
It was received and signed for by the company's facility at 9:09AM on 5/23/2012. I have yet to hear or see anything regarding this. Given a normal 15 day turnaround, this is way out of the line of acceptable. In addition, I called customer service but all I can do is leave a message. I have done so twice on 7/26/2012 and 7/30/2012. I received no call back. In addition I emailed them on 7/26/2012 but also recevied no response.
I had enclosed the form from their website, as instructed, with the pack. I am very concerned that I have not received it back nor have heard or seen anything from your company. I have included all the tracking information below to show it was received by your company. It was sent Priority Mial via the USPS.
At this point, I am worried they not only have not done the service I requested, but have stole the item I sent in to get graded. And based on the other complaints and online reviews I have seen, this is a common practive for them. I have no idea how to get them to respond to me at this point. I am trying this methodf first before I take legal action against them.
