Global Cash Access ATM Machines Meadows Casino Did not receive funds from GCA ATM at Meadows Casino but account was charged $512.00 Las Vegas, Nevada
On October 17th 2009 I went to the Meadows Casino in Washington Pennsylvania. I went to utilize the ATM's provided by Global Cash Access. I received a error message stating that my transaction could not be completed and my account would not be charged. Employees of the casino advised me to keep trying other ATM's on the property with the same results. One ATM did dispense cash, however every other ATM did not and it still charged my checking account and did not dispense funds. I have contacted local news media's to start the investigation process and have contacted my bank. The Casino, the local news, and my bank have all advised me that they have all received similar complaints about events from lastnight's issue. The Meadows Casino is not helping what so ever. I have filed a formal complaint against the Meadows Casino with the Pennsylvania State Attorney General's Office and a complaint against Global Cash Access with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). I have lost $512.00 dollars trying to retrieve funds from these ATM's that did not dispense the funds. I have also sent an e-mail to Global Cash Access for comment. If you Google this company (GCA) you will find many customers with the same situation and Global Cash Access tells all of them that there ATM's have balanced correctly and they do not give the customer there money back. How is that possible when I watched no less than 20 people at the same ATM that I was at try to get money with the same results as me. The Meadows needs to take partial ownership of this issue since they were advising all of the customers that they were aware of the ATM issue and they still continued to tell customers to keep trying different ATM's throughout the Casino.
