I really feel for all of you who got scammed by this "company". My heart goes to out to all of you victims. Entertainment scams are all too familiar these days, with the BBB and similar reporting agencies. Very sad indeed. I myself was almost just another one of GCN's "victims".

Just by freak - I too received a solicited phone call from that Jason Miller guy (real name?? who knows). Yes indeedy, he SOUNDED legitimate (typical sales conversation... at least to respect) almost normal at first. Gumming up to his "sales" pitch, promoting GCN... then, just as he assumed I was about to take his bait-----I threw HIM an unsuspected 'loogie'. I have worked previously as a professional and semi-professional, so I do have great knowledge of the industry. This Jason Miller did not expect this tone from me. And I was right on.

Then he proceeded to cover his wrap by promising lots of upcoming film projects in my area (Michigan), explained the "refundable" $125 fee, and even offered to let me speak with HIS supervisor (aw....see, customer service!) Whatever. When I made the effort to confirm his "promises" (surprise surprise) his tone suddenly changed, and he got hot and irritated, impatient. Kept cutting me off, rudely, insisting HE DID NOT KNOW EXACTLY WHAT PROJECTS WERE GOING ON---I JUST KNOW THEY ARE. YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE MY WORD FOR IT--- he says.

Well, I already smelled a rat, thanked him for his time. Didn't give GCN a second thought. Well... low and behold, by chance I happened upon this RIP OFF report website. Guess I shouldn't have been too stunned to find out that this GCN is a huge scam. Go figure.

FRIENDS----another SCAM to keep your eyes open for is Instant Cast.com. If you receive a solicited email from "tyler briggs", DELETE IT IMMEDIATELY. I was the stupid sucker and thought I'd give it a try. Noooo, couldnt listen to my gut. Already knew from the website things just didnt add up right. For those of you who may have already fallen for this INSTANT CAST.COM ---- BEWARE!

The billing and rules webpages are badly modified and do not include correct cancellation information. Not only will you be incorrectly charged $25 for Sign-on, they will sneak an added monthly charge of $25 for text messages. These are also a scam. Only took me one week of text messages to realize I'd been a fool. And when I called to cancel, I was told it would be 2-3 weeks before my bank account would see the charges reversed.
