I called IMG for information about membership but was sent material from Global Connection. This seemed odd to be right away. Since this awkward start I have reviewed the history of these companies was able to see that they are a knock-off of World Traders Association.

After reading the posts on this site and atill having an open mind I went about looking into this opportunity. What I have found is a trail of lies & deceit. Alot of good people did some great research and I hope open alot of eyes.

I sincerely hope that all the unfortunate people that got involved with these companies get something back for all their suffering.

Since You Asked, Facts re Sham Corporate Identities

According to the Nevada Secretary of State in June 2004, Scott Rinaldo, President of World Traders Association (WTA), had an address of 4185 South Paradise Rd #1115, Las Vegas, NV 89109.

The Global Connection (TGC), according to the Arizona Secretary of State, has a foreign address of--bada bing!-- 4185 South Paradise Rd #1115, Las Vegas, NV 89109.

WTA was shutdown by the California Attorney General's office, which revoked WTA's registeration after numerous complaints, from defrauded affiliates such as I, for fraud and violation of state laws and policy.

To comply with the Attorney General, WTA took down their website www.wtraders.com, but the other website, www.wtaaffiliates.org, still exists.

WTA then re-opened with a different name-- International Merchandise Group (IMG).

Then, again, as an even newer company, TGC.

When WTA registration was revoked on May 2003, by law, WTA was required to notify all members and offer to settle with each and every one.

Did not happen.

The President of IMG, Mike Morgan, used to be with WTA.

Shannon Holden, President of TGC, used to be with WTA.

IMG, TGC, and WTA all offer the same sales pitch for their "business offer".

They all have the same phone extentions and the same trainers & recruiters.

WTA & IMG have no offices or warehouses.

IMG's Denver address at 1600 Broadway, Ste. 2400 is a mere "store front". It forwards all mail to Brenda at IMG in Nevada. The same IMG Brenda can also be reached by phone at Musketeer Partners.

IMG products are listed on WTA's product list.

"Harry Fisher" and "d**k Wells" are reported to call defrauded affiliates and threaten their lives.

IMG's corporate status is deliquent in Colorado.

Musketeer Partners' corporate status is delinquent in Nevada.

The forwarding service at 1600 Broadway takes care of mail for both entities--ta da!--and Brenda is the contact for both.

TGC's corporate status is delinquent in Arizona.

IMG, WTA, TGC, & Musketeer Partners are all located at 3083 N. Lima St. Burbank, CA.

When one IMG affiliate recieved his first "leads list" he right-clicked on the file to open up its Properties, then clicked on Summary, then on the Advanced button, and saw, under the Origin heading, "WTA" identified as the company that created the document. (They apparently don't know that Microsoft Word stores meta data with all files.)

Fullfilment Options is the company located in Burbank, CA, that houses IMG, WTA, TGC, & Musketeer Partners. All these companies utilize Fulfillment Options' internet account.

buts facts ARE what I'm asking for

I have investigated TGC and decided enough was fishy to pass on it. However responses to my queries such as that by Robert in Carmel are exactly the kind of shill, non-specific accusations and insults that undermine the credibility of TGC critics. Robert et al tells me to "look at the facts", when the facts are exactly what I am looking for and finding few of. My specific question was: if TGC is a rip off, how could the happy Associates I contacted be explained? It strains credulity to think that a dozen so diverse people could all be in cahoots. No one has offered an explanation of that to me. Given the overall amount of mud being slung at TGC, I have decided to pass on it. But just the for the record, being sneered at and ridiculed by Robert for not just taking his word for how bad they are is no better than TGC expecting me to just take their word for how great they are. I passed on TGC because they didn't come through for me with certain facts--such as where they are incorporated. I thank these reports for inspiring me to be extra-thorough on my due dilegence; but shill insults instead of facts ain't much help to somebody trying to put the picture together.

Jim, Give Them Your Thousands & THEN Join Us

Oh, Really, Jim?

Never mind the facts--if you don't like the linguistic tone of the writers here, then please, go ahead and write The Global Connection a big, irrevocable check for thousands of dollars. Soon, the bitter taste of being a sucker (like we were) will sting your palate--a taste you WON'T be able to mouthwash away. It'll be worse for you, because you should have known. You're privy here to mountains of facts I would give anything to have known before I wrote my $6,900 check to one of TGC's prior incarnations (under fraudulent circumstances) and kissed that money goodbye. After you throw away your thousands of dollars, you can join our choir of righteously indignant victims and we'll let you bellow with whatever tone you want to express your anger with.

So, please, back up your words with action. Disregard our warnings. Soon, then, we'll accept you, beaten and humbled, into our ranks after you've been victimized.

I am considering becoming a Global Connection Affiliate and discovered this website and its warnings as part of my research. Global Connection gave me the names and numbers of 10 Affiliates. While I can discount their comments to some extent based on the premise that they are all pre-screened to reliably say positive things, they were an extremely diverse group of individuals, and I cannot credit the idea that they were all in cahoots to fool prospects like me.

Could somebody give me the context and some particulars about what supposed to be so bad about Global Connection? How do I know that the complaints I see here -- all pretty shrill and hysterical -- are not just the rantings of chronically indignant people. Can somebody point me to evidence that most people who become Affiliates end up unhappy with Global Connection? Thank you.
