Global Connections GLOBAL CONNECTION VACATION PACKAGES SOLD THROUGH FRAUDULENT MEANS!! AVOID THE SCAM! Livonia Michigan
After sitting through the Global Connections presentation, my friend and I were assigned to Jason and Triva for the sales pitch. I went to this presentation with a trip already in mind. I had a general date and area already selected for my next vacation and a list of questions in case I decided to follow through with this company.
Jason and I moved to a seperate computer where he showed me the resort available in Maui for my travel dates. There were many accomadations available and according to the contract if I called 120 days prior I shouldn't have any trouble booking. The amount of money I would be able to save was significant!
Part of the presentation was also that this package could be passed down in your family. I asked Jason and Triva what had to be done for that to happen. I was told it had to be put in my will.
Seeing how much I could save and knowing it could be used for my daughter and her future family, my friend and I bought a package.
Six weeks later, when my daughter was home from college, we solidified our vacation plans. I went on-line to book our Maui trip just to find out I couldn't! I contacted the reservation's agent and I was told I could no longer book at the resort I had selected. I still had more than 5 months before the trip. What was going on?
Needless to say, I have contacted Kathleen, the manager of the operation managers. Her solution was that she would help me book my trip for NEXT year. Now she refuses my calls. Unfortunately, everyone I can contact leads back to her. No one, including Kathleen can answer how this package can be passed to my daughter. I have filed a claim with my credit card company and the BBB.
This company is good at fraudulent statements, does not value customer relations, and simply takes your money without remorse. BEWARE!!
