I answered an e-mail to stuff pre-addressed, stamped envelopes for $2.00 per envelope. My thought was they would send the envelopes to me, I would stuff them and return the envelopes to them. Well, after filling out the information including an on-line check I started talking to friends and they gave me some on-line places to go and check them out.

I went on-line to find out there was a report filed here, the Better Business Bureau and the FTC only say that the address is just a mail drop and no other information is available about them. I immediately e-mailed Global Crafters with my concerns, including the fact that I am not about to do work and not get paid and told them not to cash my check until I am able to contact someone within the company. I told them I would contact the proper authorities if they do not comply with my wishes.

Low and behold I received an e-mail back saying they would cancel my order and I would not be charged. This was from sales@globalcrafters.net. Unfortunately the next day I checked my account and the money was taken out of my account the day after I received the e-mail saying I would not be charged. I told them to put the money back ($44.00) as of today I have not received my money.

Yesterday, I received an envelope from the company which was dated the day after I was told my order would be cancelled. The contents is nothing more that flyers to put up and have people send a self addressed stamped envelope to an address I am to supply (either my home or P.O. Box) and order form for The Homeworkers Directory which is $29.00 (regular price $39.00)....

When I receive the s.a.s.e. I am supposed to put the flyer in and send that envelope along with the original envelope back to Global Crafters. If you don't do exactly as they say they don't have to pay. So after looking over this it is nothing but a scam since they could say you haven't done what they say so they don't have to pay....

I know there is one other person out there that has done this and not gotten paid if there are more please lets get together and stop these people. There are a lot of desparate people out there out of jobs and they will be scammed also if we don't do something about it.

I there is anyone who actually did get reimbursed their deposit and paid for the work please let me know... At this point I just don't believe there is.

Think about it, if 40 people send $44 that is $1,760.00 these people will make and probably not pay out a dime for the work of others.
