Global crafts (Miami) and on the internet work from home stuffing envelopes is a scam. Global crafts (New Smyrna Beach) is a real company trying to help people in africa by selling products from africa. and New Smyrna Beach has no connection with Miami.
The better business bureau in west palm beach has Julio Olivia as the owner tel 305-260-0304
The BBB has updated the entry on global crafts that the business has recieved many complaints.
the web sites www.globalcrafts.net and www.globalcrafters.net are also registered to julio olivia the site is registered with the phone number 786-433-6262
the business does not appear to b registered in florida
several people who have contacted the real global crafts (new smyrna beach) have recieved packages from the company but did not get what them expected.
Julio used the following email addresses to register the sites craftsoliva47@hotmail.com and crafts@hotmail.com
his address appears to be 211 n.w. 72nd ave suite 307 Miami fl 33126, but the BBB says has indicated that address are only mail drops.
this business is causing problems for the real (new smyrna beach)who are trying to sell art and items from africa to help the people. they are reconized by the fair trade federation.
we need to put a stop to these con artists. I have contacted the attornry generals office. anyone who may have anymore information on how to take these guy's out or a attorney willing to put these guy's away. Please post a note

after researching ripoff report for global crafts i did not find anything, but i did notice reports on global (crafters) after i had been ripped off. please link this to global crafters so the other people who have been ripped off can benefit from the information,
after realizing i had been ripped off i contacted ripoff report and filed a complaint, then i called florida attorney general office,and reported them to consumer services. then the BBB. when i recived my package from global crafts (miami) I knew it was not what i was expecting so i returned to sender and wrote DEMAND REFUND in big letters on the bottom and highlighted it
on 3-17-03 i got a check in the mail for the $45.00 from global crafts, Inc. (miami). i think i was very fortunate to get my money returned. But i also warned them in the begining that if this was a scam i worked for 2 lawyers and they would be sorry.
so i hope this information helps others who have been scamed By global crafts ( miami). Good luck!
