Global Financial ripoff ripoff Nationwide Internet
Global called on the phone wanting to give me a credit card with no interest no fees with a 2500 credit limit and $500 worth of groceries and $100 of gas & 10 rolls of film. After I said I was interested they told me they needed $221.95 from my checking account, I said I don't have that much money, if I did I wouldn't need a credit card, they also told me I could post date the check for 2 months away, so I did.
I called them back two days after, gave them my tracking number and told them to cancel the account, this was in February 2003. April 1, 2003 they took the money from my checking account anyway. When I called they had no record of account being cancelled. Today is May 4, 2003 I can't get them to answer the phone and I haven't received anything. I will be going to the bank and I will get my money back somehow.
