I recived a letter in the mail on May 18, 2008. It said that I had won $150,000 and it also had what appeared to be a real check for $5,150. It said to call Jason Long at 1-778-858-9474. It also said that the check was to pay for The Certificate of clearance and Insurance prior to delivery of your Lum sum Check. I called a few times, but it was a recording that said the customer was unavailable. I was convinced it was a scam by then.

I was still hoping somehow I had really won some money by something that I had entered my name in. So I called again. This time "Jason Long" answered and I told him I recieved this letter and a check and I was just calling to get more information about it. He said, "Can I please have your phone number Mam?" I said, "NO you cannot...tell me first what this is all about," and then he got all offensive and said, "No mam it does not work like that...you give me your number FIRST." I asked what company this was and he said, "Give me your phone number," and I said, "NO!" and he hung up!!! I called again and said you wouldn't hang up on me if this was a real company...that's just not bussines and he said, "Do you have your phone number handy?" And I said no and he wouldn't even let me get the words out my mouth. I was trying to say I have a claim number on the letter and I just want to know what it's about and he said, "If you can't give me your phone number then BYE" and he hung up!! So I was really convinced then that it was a SCAM.

I don't know what these people are trying to do, but don't fall for this!! Don't even take the check to the bank. Because I called the bank that the check was from (Wells Fargo Bank) and they said the account number was not even active.

I can't believe these people even think they're going to get anything out of this especially acting the way he did on the phone!!
