Thank you all for getting the word out about this company. We got the same call that everyone else did, the $221.95 package "deal". We want so badly to have good credit, as do all of you. We were even willing to pay $221.95 for help in getting there. Fortunately, I gave them my bank info and looked out to about 3 weeks later as the date to withdraw.

As the day grew closer and nothing came in the mail, I began to get upset that this company could promise these things yet not follow through on the mailing I was expecting. That is when I Googled Global Financial, searched a bit, and found all of your complaints. My heart started racing, as I am sure all of yours did.

At this point I called my bank to get a stop payment on the check, to find out that I also needed to do a stop on all automatic withdrawals to make sure that they don't take the money out that way as well. But to do this, I had to have a letter requesting just that, signed and given directly (or faxed)to the bank. I just made it in time (I was actually 5 minutes late to the bank, but begged to be able to draft the letter, I got lucky), as all of these were accomplished two business days before they were to take funds. And the stop payments take one full business day to go through.

PSS-I was even tempted to write this before the stop payments went through, but was afraid to do that. Isn't that sad?
