Complaint Review: Global Gold and Metals Trading LLC

Global Gold and Metals Trading LLC globalgoldxchange Scam: GGMT Global Gold and Metals Trading LLC globalgoldxchange Dumfries, Virginia

I have been wronged by Global Gold and Metals Trading LLC/globalgoldxchange/GG MT in an attempt to purchase some precious metals.

I have already had 2 previous successful transactions with this Internet dealer, one of which involved a sizable amount of money ...Therefore; I didn't hesitate to place further sizable orders with GG MT, believing that they would be filled
with the same positive results.

HOWEVER, these folks proved themselves to be less than honorable, at best, and are probably just crooks at worst.

They cloak themselves with a veil of legitimacy by filling SOME orders and also by promptly returning phone calls and e-mails ...This gives the buyer confidence in their dependability.  However, as I have unfortunately discovered, all is not as it seems on the surface at GG MT.

They will string you along with inexhaustible excuses for non-delivery of the product, citing everything from postal delays to the weather.

Further, when refunds are requested, there are another set of excuses set forth, which include blaming the buyer for giving wrong banking information and having a very narrow window of wire transfer days on their end .

I have now lost more than $23,400, and am in the process of turning the whole matter over to federal, state and local authorities.

Thank you for your time, and I Hope this enlightens you.

Its very nice to hear you got your refund. But i am in the same position that you are in now, i am out $13k, they have my money and wont give it back to me. They sent me a fake tracking number, then told me they had to file a fake insurance report....its all bs. Im taking legal action against them now and taking them down. Law suit being processed.

I see that a few people think that I am Earl, but I am actually the user p154832 on ioffer.  I listed a $999 coin to try to get into contact with some people that bought from global gold xchange and ask them if they were ripped off or what happened. ( ioffer doesn't allow messages to be sent unless you've made a transaction with that user you're trying to message... they do however, allow you to list an item for somebody and type a message to that "potential buyer".) Anyway, friday I called Earl and he provided me with a tracking number.  It hasn't update from "electronic shipping info received on 9/28".  Hopefully, monday it will.  It's funny how somebody actually saw my ioffer listing other than the person it was meant for.  Another loophole I found on ioffer is the ability to look at people's messages if they haven't marked their transaction as private.  I can read every message between global gold and the buyer, but only if the buyer has not made the transaction private. My experiences with global gold have been quite odd at times.  At first they followed their claim of shipping 10 business days after funds being received.  Then they began marking "payment received" 3-4 days LATER than when the funds disappeared from my account.  Then one day they marked my package "shipped" but the tracking didn't change for 2 weeks because they were still waiting on one of my products to arrive.  It took me a while to figure this out, until somebody answered on the 2nd or 3rd phone call I tried to make and told me that they ran out of stock and were waiting for their shipment.   This was about when communication slowed down, but I still continued making orders.  The next couple of orders were fine... but like I said, they didn't reply to any emails. The last package I received from them was on 9/10.  2 more orders were supposed to ship by 9/15, but they never did.  I called and left a voice mail asking what was up, and Earl called back and said they were out of the office because of a death in the family.  I was fine with that as long as I received the coins a few weeks later.  If anyone wants to ask questions, find p154832 on ioffer and message me.  I don't feel like typing this all out

Greetings to locallyreferred of Grand Rapids,

I am the author of the report, and here's the answer to your inquiry.  You asked what I did to get my money back.  I can't be sure exactly what motivated them to give me the refund, but the following is what I did:  I was in constant contact with them via premetalex@gmail.com and by phone. I called Earl and asked him when he was going to send back my funds, and finally I put up fraud reports (as seen here, and which they quickly acknowledged they had seen), and reported them on other scam sites. Additionally I kept in contact with my bank to let them know about the series of events going on, especially about GG MT's inability to send me a wire transfer(GGMT claimed the wiring info I provided was incorrect - which was NOT accurate).  I also filed complaints with the State Attorney General's office in the state where I live; and also in Virginia, and Georgia. I then filed with the Department of Justice, the USPIS (United States Postal Inspection Service) , the Better Business Bureau, and the Federal Trade Commission.  I almost filed a police report with my local police (at a lawyer and banker's suggestions) and just about contacted the IRS about them, but at that point I had already received my refund. I'm sure you can find the links for all of these sites online if you feel that is the best way for you to proceed.  If there was a death in the family, then you may want to give them more time, but it is obviously up to your own discretion when to act further.  Make sure you keep everything you've done written down so far(all transactions) for complete accuracy as I had done.  I also networked with other people who had alleged similar issues.

I did eventually get my money back after 83 days.  Even though I'm grateful my problem has been resolved, and I have rebutted my previous statements, Earl threatened me with a lawsuit for posting these reports. I see now that these complaints are piling up against his company so I feel compelled to help others further.  I hope you and everyone else gets your money or metals eventually.

PS - As for the p154832 sounding like GGMT/Earl; type in globalgoldxchange in the ioffer and see what comes up. Then click the coin.  Then look at the author.  Just a conspiracy I know. :)

I retract everything I've said about GGMT / GLOBALGOLDXCHANGE / GLOBAL GOLD AND METALS TRADING LLC.  They've honored their service to me, and so everything I said is null and void.  I wouldn't hesitate recommending them to others, as I know they will deliver.  AGAIN, I retract all prior statments about Global Gold and Metals Trading.  They have provided a refund in FULL, and so this report is null and void. I wouldn't have any fear whatsoever recommending Global Gold to the next guy looking to buy precious metals.  Thank you.
