Complaint Review: Global Inet Marketing

Back in April of 2003,I was looking for a marketing company for my website (KMLIQUIDATIONS.COM) and I had singled out Global Inet Marketing Inc. to do the job.I had called and spoke to Tony Feliciano and he had given me a good feeling about the company so he sent over a packet that I signed and sent a check for $1,049.00 thru fed ex that he provided,tracking # 840768736230.I felt confident that Tony and I could work together,he told me that he would be handling everything in the future.After about a week I was getting the search engine words that were needed to get this thing going and Tony had given my ideas in the beginning.When I called back with some questions I was told that he was no longer with the company and they transfered me to another person in which she told me that Tony was just a sales person and was not there to help with the website that was another departments area,even thou I was desappointed I went ahead and left a message on a recorder with that department and was told I would get back in touch with(never happened.Then a good time span went and I received an email from customer service asking for the search engine words,I gave them a few and asked them for assistance in making sure I was headed in the right direction,and received no response.I had called again and spoke with Mr.Lewis and told him the problem in which he responded be telling me to email customer service and himself again and he promises they would get in touch with me.Once again they did get in touch with me saying the same thing about search words and after that I never heard from them again.At that time I had sent several email out saying I wanted a refund that I was guaranteed oral and in writing,with no response.I desperate now and no matter what will do business with this company and just want my refund and will forget the whole thing.This company will not respond to me so this is my only hope of getting any money from them.

Settlement Explanation:
All I want out of this company now is the initial payment I had sent to get the marketing started,which is $1,049.00. I don't care about all the long distance calls I had made,I just want this matter closed in a positive manner.
