We are a Florida Licensed Private Investigative agency that took a subcontract assignment out of state for Fernando J. Rodriguez, owner of Global International Research Bureau. After completing the assignments, he stiffed us for our agreed-upon compensation and also didn't reimburse expenses. He also admitted in writing to us that he had been paid but wasn't going to pay us anyway. We filed a complaint with the Florida Division of Licensing, which issues private investigative agency licenses. Their investigators looked into this and recommended that Rodriguez's license be revoked. However, the suits in Tallahassee did not act on the recommendation of their own investigators (this is another story in itself). We then sued Rodriguez in Broward County and won a $10,000.00 judgment.

Since we sued him, we have been contacted by several people who were either clients or subcontractors claiming he ripped them off as well. This guy needs to be stopped and we would suggest to anyone who has been ripped off by this guy to file a complaint with the Division of Licensing. Maybe if enough people do this, they will be forced to act to shut this guy down once and for all.
