Today I got a letter in the mail with no return address and the post mark was from Canada. As I opened up the letter, there was a check enclosed that fell out in my hand for $1,998.00! Going through some financial difficulties, I was excited beyond belief to receive a check for that amount.

As I read the letter, it got better. The letter was dated November 24, 2006 and it told me that my name was drawn as a lucky number to win $120,000.00! This check for the $1,998.00 was to cover taxes needed to be paid via their sponser.

It asked me to reply by December 14, 2006. The letter as singed by Carol Rogers, Presidente.

I called the phone number on the letter and it gave me a voicemail mailbox saying it was full at this time. So, I looked at the check and called the phone number on the check. The check states it is from the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics. When I called the phone number, I got the same message saying the mailbox was full at this time.

Now I started to wonder if this dream come true was not so true.

Thank goodness my next step was logging on to the internet and doing some research. Thank you to everyone that reported this before I got myself into something that I coudln't get out of.

Let's hope they catch the person doing this and we are really ths winners!
