I recieved a call from a girl that told me I had an open account for magazines. I told her that any accounts I had were closed over a year ago. She told me the account was not closed because I still owed a final payment of $29.95. I authorized a one time bank draft to close the account.

A few days later I realized the $29.95 had been paid twice to Honeybee Media. I called my bank to get a phone number to contact Honeybee. My bank told me there was no phone number associated with the withdrawls. I then filed a dispute through my bank.

A few days later I recieved a "friendly reminder" from Global Living. This "reminder" stated that I made a payment of $29.95 and my NEXT payment would be due in one month. The notice also stated that I had chosen "the convenience of pre-authorized bank debit to process my monthly payment.

There was no listing from information for Global Living or Honeybee Media at the address on the notice. I again had to contact my bank in an attempt to block any further drafts. My bank said they could do this as long as Honeybee Media did not alter the amount of the draft.

This has all occurred in the past two weeks, so I do not yet know if the block will keep these people from taking more money out of my bank account. I am still trying to find a working phone number to contact Global Living or Honeybee Media.
