In January of 2004 I received a bill for 49.95. It was for a magazine subscription that I thought I had cancelled. I then received a call stating have I received my magazines, I told them yes but I also told them that I canceled and he told me no that they don't have anything on file showing this. I repeatedly said that I did not want them and to cancel it, and he said that I have to pay for the payments because they payed for the processing and that they would lose money.

I received my bank statement showing that they were taking the money directly out of my account. I then received a package in the mail for some coupons for saving money on groceryes, that I never asked for. I then sent the package back the same day to cancel.

A few months go by and in August I get a call at work from a rep. at Global Living asking if I wanted them to continue to debit my account for the remaining of my subsciption and I told them that I really canceled it but your company is stating that I didn't. He then said that they will put me on the no call list after my subscription is canceled and I said "yes", he then asked the same questions again and we hung up.

A few days later I received a letter stating THANK YOU FOR YOUR RECENT ORDER!! I then filled out the paper to cancel and sent it back the same day. A few days go by and I received another letter saying the same thing. I then called and talked to a customer service about this and she told me that she doesn't know why they renewed my subscription because I already have the one account open and still owe money on it, I told her that this is not right and that I sent in the cancelation paper.

She then said that they billed me twice this month, and that was 100.00 that I don't have, I have 2 children and don't make but 8.00 a hr. I was then pissed off about this, she told me she would put a note in the computer saying that I sent in the cancelation form and to forward the second payment that they took and put it twords the next month so I would't pay again. She also said that she would talk to her manager about this, I told her to please find out why they are billing me 2 times in a month and to make it stop.

Well today is September 4th and I checked my bank account, and they took the 49.95 out again as they were not to do. I tried to call but they were not open so now I will be calling tomorrow to find out what is going on!! This is a scam and I need it fixed, what should I do.
