This company posts an ad on a job site claiming they are looking for mystery shoppers in your area. You fill out the info on their website, a few days later you get some information in the mail stating what to do for your first mystery shopper job.

You receive what looks like a certified cheque for a paticular amount, mine was almost $3000, and your supposed to take it to the nearest money gram store and send whatever amount they specify, and keep $200 for yourself.

The purpose of this job was to evaluate the service. It could be a western union, or the cash store etc. that you can go to.

Big scam!! I even waited three business days before I sent the money just to make sure it was legit. A week and a half later, the certified cheque came back bogus and I'm out $3000. The unfortunate part is, no matter how I fought with the bank that they should be somewhat responsible, I have to pay it back. Don't let this happen to you.

Make sure you ALWAYS do your research on the company FIRST before you try cashing cheques. CERTIFIED cheques do not mean they are certified.
