Note: I posted the original report on Global Martketing Innovations and wanted to include the names of their other alias companies. Since they did not get me past the first interview, I wanted to paste some reports on Marketing Sessions. So people can see what they are in for if they believe these LOSERS.

I worked for Marketing Sessions for a little over a month. It was more than enough for me, and for the countless others I saw quit during that short period of time.

My story is much like all the others I read from Cydcor employees. There are just a few things I want to make clear to those people who are interviewing or are considering working at Marketing Sessions.

First, you are not paid anything except commissions. You will not receive a paycheck for at least three weeks after you start. You are not paid for training. You will drive hundreds of miles in a week, and you will pay for your own gas and expenses.

You will work at least 11, sometimes more, hours per day. At least eight of those hours will consist of you walking for miles. You will be assigned a territory, and it may be in a terrible neighborhood. You will, nonetheless, be forced to accept this with a smile.

You will be encouraged to skip lunch or eat very very quickly. You will be told not to take any breaks at all during the day. You will be expected to go to between 60 and 90 businesses per day.

You will be given a script to follow, word for word. You will not be allowed to express any form of discontent or negativity to your coworkers. You will be forced to attend an early morning meeting, once a week, during which you will hear the exact same words spoken at you over and over again-- how great the company is, how much money Michael Sessions, his offspring, Per Holtze, his mentor, Brandi, and others make, and how dumb you would be to leave.

You will cease to have a life outside the company. You will begin to say things like 'Sweet' and 'Nice' and 'Quit negging me out' when you are at home because you will be programmed to say these exact phrases at work. Your family will worry about you. You will not see your friends. You will get very little sleep at night. You will be physically exhausted all the time, because you will be walking many miles in a week.

Your feet will ache, your mind will be numb, and you will worry all the time that you may not get enough apps to get you 'on the bell' (another phrase) every day. Then you may lose your job.

You will not be able to share these concerns with your coworkers, because they may tell Michael, and then you will be in trouble.

You will, eventually, realize that you were lied to and mislead. And then you will have to decide if you want to stick with the company, take your chances at becoming an owner, and then making your living out of lying to innocent people.

If you doubt the things I say, do just one thing. Go to Monster.com, and carefully read the contact names at the bottom of the Marketing Sessions ads. They will say, contact 'Gene Sparks' or 'Sarah,' and many other names. Then consider this: The only person in that tiny, four-room office who answers the phones and schedules interviews is a woman named Alexandra. There is no Gene Sparks, no Sarah somebody.

Ask yourself why Marketing Sessions makes itself look bigger than it really is by listing several contacts who don't even exist.

This is only the beginning of the lies.

I to have been a victim of these companies....you go to the initial interview than they say 'we will call you if we would like you to come back for a second interview'. Low and behold they call everyone with a decent appearance and is in need of work.

So you go to your second interview than are told you will be driveing around with someone all day in the field to get a feel for the job. You leave the office and can drive up to 2 hours away!!!! You than have to follow this person around who is telling you how great the job is and help them sell stuff ALL DAY!! Which you do not get paid for since it is part of the interview process!!

At lunch they will go over how quick you can pick this up and that you will be earning 600 bucks a week in no time!! they tell you that in a year or so you will be owning your own company makeing a minimum of 6 figs a year. and of course they have been there for 3 months and are only 2 months away from owning their own company!!

What they don't tell you is that come tax time you are an independant contractor and will prob owe a substancial amount since you do not pay into the irs when the company pays you. This is how they get out of any liability...since you technically work for yourself you are VERY limited on any liabilities you may have against them!!

You than are brought back to the office usually between 6 and 7 at night and told to wait a few minutes that they will go up to bat for you with the big chief and keep your fingers crossed cause not everyone gets hired. After waiting they call you back into the office and and roughly 99% do get hired...surprise surprise. Your hours will then be 7:30-7:30ish and Saturdays too...because if you are going to make it big and get in good with the boss you need to come in on Saturdays!!

THIS HOLE SCHEME IS A CROCK!! They tell you to lie to the customers and all you do is go door to door everyday never see your family and they pressure you into going on road trips.....coferences, etc...at your expense of course since you work for yourself!! the big bosses are making a KILLING off you just by getting you in the car on your 'Day of O'

Independant contractors do NOT HAVE to report daily at a certain time!! They tell you well we take all that into consideration when promoteing from within.

I personally went on a day of 'o' with Marketing Sessions and DC advetising. I took the job with DC but found out come pay day Innovative Marketing was paying me. I also have kids and a family which most of the losers who actually stay with these swindlers don't. So they tell you ohh well the sacrafice is worth it in the long run!! But if your kids get sick or something happens they play a guilt trip on you!!

Do Not respond to any job offers from these companies!!

Signature says fashion and apparrell....yet you sell cosmetics door to door every day!! All companies are commision only!!!

More than likely you will be waisting your time!!!! on any interview with all companies listed!!

Marketing Sessions out of Oakbrook, IL is the biggest scam I have ever seen. Upon submitting my resume and reading about the company online i felt as if it was a good opportunity. I knew something was wrong when I showed up for my interview and there were like 15 other people sitting in the lobby. Went into the interview w Michael for like 15 min and was told I would get a call back if they were interested.

Not even an hour later I got a call for a 2nd round interview. I was informed the 2nd round interview consisted of following around an account manager so i was like whatever cool. We go out for like 8 hours barging into peoples stores annoying them asking them for their phone bills. Out of seeing maybe 70 businesses maybe 2 people showed us their phone bill.

What Marketing Sessions tries to do is switch people from AT&T to SBC because MKTG Sessions is affiliated with Cydcor and SBC. So basically they go in telling these innocent people oh yeah switch to SBC its way cheaper, but forget to disclose many hidden fees where inturn the person's bill comes out to be more than it was with AT&T.

So I took the job w them got awesome promises saying yeah in the 1st 2 weeks u make $400-$600 then u become a leader and make $700-$1000 then asst mgr and so on. Basically what they try to instill is you can become an owner in a year and make 6 figures. So i was like $600 that sounds good.

They tell you it takes to weeks to get your first check. Oh then its not 2 but 3 then not 3 then 4. I was there for 5 weeks until i got my first check. Its not worth it. You drive around all day wasting ure gas, talking to people who dont want anything to do w u, work 10, 11, 12 hrs walk miles for what?... to be paid commission.

They try to break down how you get paid and they make it seem so great. I was supposed to make $500 but got paid $150 becuase my apps got rejected supposedly, when while i made this money a leader was watching what i was doing and gave the ok. Michael holds meetingss at 7am once a week and talks about how much money he makes and other bullshit.

Its not a marketing firm you are a door 2 door salesman, it lokks like a professional environment but people are swearing in the office and s**t. There were many days when i worked 10hrs didnt switch any1 over to sbc or retain customers so i made nothing. ITS LIKE A CULT THERE.

Every morning u go u have to do pitches to each other for an hour then you play games like scategories. PEOPLE TALK DOWN TO U THERE. And what came from it all lack of sleep , no time to eat, fights w the girlfriend, worrying about money, BROKEN PROMISES, ITS SUCH A SCAM.

Then u go downtown for corporate training which is paid, YEAH NEVER SAW THAT MONEY $200. I swear people who work their have no lives you get to work at 7am and dont live till 7pm, then after working 10, 11, 12 hours they host team nights every thursday and if u dont show up they get pissed. I had my leader calling me all the time for no apparent reason.

They brainwash people there luckly i got fed up w the bullshit and left. Typical day there for an entry level was arrive at 8am leave at 6:30 pm. Alright I can go on for hours about mistreatment there the moral here is MICHAEL SESSIONS IS A CON ARTIST, MKTG SESSIONS IS A SCAM, INNOCENT PEOPLE HAVE THERE PHONE BILLS BECOME MORE EXPENSIVE DUE TO BROKEN PROMISES. Its ridiculous take a look around everyday theres always 5 people leaving and 10 getting hired.

Hey there everyone! I worked at Marketing Sessions for months. I was that person who called you to come in for an interview. Here's how it works. They DO NOT look at your resume. We just call you. ANYONE who sends a resume. It's for the 'account executive' position. It's JUST a title. Marketing Sessions is ALWAYS hiring. It's an ALL commision job that you use your car and your money for gas. People come and go with this company all the time. This report is just to tell the REAL truth about marketing sessions. So if you see a ton of job postings for them thats why, because they are always having people quit.

And we also had to call these people over and over and over and over and over again. They STALK you pretty much. And the hoours are 8-6:30pm and they do that whole RAH RAH and bang a drum like some type of cult. This report is just to warn people that Marketing Sessions IS an ALL COMISSION OUTSIDE SALES JOB!
