Complaint Review: Global Media Advertising

     Global Media Advertising is a complete ripoff.  They misrepresent their services and misquote pricing.  When I followed up after receiving absolutely 0 business from their offer, I noticed that they were marketing me in the wrong profession entirely.  They offered to give me double advertising after that with the stipulation that I was not interested in paying them anything after the trial period.

     Good luck trying to cancel as they have special hold line to make you wait at least 20 minutes before you talk to a low level worker who has no authority.  Then you talk to a condescending quasi-"manager" after that who also has no control over refunds who explains that they must have "James the dispute handler" call you back the next day.  This whole process is designed to drag out the cancellation process and make it difficult to cancel the services once they start.

     I asked point blank, "Why do you have so many people trying to cancel your services that you have to wait on hold for 20 minutes, get no resolution after an hour on the phone, and then wait for "James the dispute handler" to call you back the following day?  Really?  Infer what you want, but if that many people are trying to cancel so you have to wait 20 minutes and they have to call you back the next day before they get to you... probably a sign that they cannot handle the business and they definitely can't handle the business that doesn't want to work with them.  That's called an "Exodus"!

     $99 is not really worth my time, but these people were such a$$hole$ about it, I will go the whole 9 yards and take them to small claims court if I have to.
