Complaint Review: Global Motorcars of Houston

I purchased 2011 Volvo XC60 from this dealership over EBAY.  I came to Houston from Georgia to buy the car and discovered that the car had 7000 more miles than was stated in advertising, but we agreed with the dealer on the reduced price and I took the car to Georgia. I made a full payment to the dealer by credit card and cashiers check. 

Upon arriving home the next day, I've discovered that the car had undisclosed damage and notified the dealer. The dealer immediately agreed to take the car back and issue the refund. 

The next day the dealer sent a truck and picked up the car. Several days later, the dealer confirmed receiving the car back and issued a refund for the portion paid by credit card- $1900.00.  I was told that the rest will be refunded by check. 

When a check for the remainder $6300.00 arrived, I deposed it to my bank only to learn that the check came back a few days later unpaid due to insufficient funds.  At this point I have no car and no money - this dealer simply stole my savings and committed fraud by issuing unfunded check.

This dealer also operates under the name of Vanderhall Exotics of Houston
