Complaint Review: Global Net Warehouse/Adriatic Services/Your Adult Store/Atlas Marketing

I am one of the adult store website owners that has had similar experiences.

22,000 plus hits to my site this year and only one sale. Luckily, my financial losses have not been huge as I did not bite on some of the sales pitches to spend more money.

So, I decided to try using the company as a source of the products since they offer wholesale ordering. I have been taking delivery of products and trying some other marketing options with limited success. Here is where it gets interesting: I placed an order for some adult toys via their wholesale ordering option on my website.

After the shipment didn't show up at my house, I started contacting their customer service department. Of course I didn't get an answer on the phone so i kept leaving e-mails with them. Finally got a brief response that the shipment had been delivered to my front porch. I knew that didn't happen and customer service was of absolutely no help, so I started tracking down the delivery myself with UPS.

I finally discovered that yes the shipment had been delivered - to my ex-wife's house! Obviously that is a problem for me since it was not a friendly divorce.

I have NEVER used her address for anything and my street address is clearly listed under my name in the phone directory.

As you can see above, I have posted to this board before about my observations on this company. So, it kinda makes you wonder just how that shipment got sent to my ex. Honest mistake in their warehouse or maybe a little payback for posting on here? You judge for yourself.

I don't know for sure who wrote the report above, but I know for sure it wasn't Shawn. Because I am the Shawn the above report is pretending to be. I'm pretty sure I know who it is, but out of respect for the person and since I don't know for sure, I won't say the persons name.

The person I think wrote it was a previous employee Global Net Warehouse, and Adriatic Services. And eventually became somewhat of a business partner with the owner, which ended very badly, because the person ran the business horribly. He didn't pay his employees numerous times and eventually a News Report was run on this person on Phoenix's Local news. Because this person did nothing but rip off hundreds of people for hundreds of thousands of dollars. And then when the piper came calling, he tried pointing the fingers at the old owners. Who had nothing to do with the fiasco he had created.

For starters, Adriatic Services is not a sister company of Global Net Warehouse. They are totally separate companies and have nothing to do with one another. Goran is not the owner of Global Net Warehouse, and never has been.

Yes, I have worked for both companies at different times in the past, and yes I was working for Adriatic Services when the new owner Goran took over, but I was never fired for returning from lunch late. Goran and I have no problem, then or now, and no commissions are due to me as well. I was not fired at all, Adriatic Services and I parted ways amicably, as I wanted to pursue my own interest, and I didn't have the time to dedicate myself to my own interest and to Adriatic Services. So in fairness to Goran, I resigned.

I have never gone to any Department of Labor in Arizona, and there is nothing pending in small claims court as well. As for the person making claims that a person should not expect to get paid, or as they put it... "Don't expect to get any money from these characters as they don't even pay their employees the money that is owed." This is an absolutely false statement. I know for a fact that Adriatic Services has not only printed out thousands of payroll checks, and has never had 1 check withheld or bounce. Any and all monies that were due to employees have been paid promptly. And the same stands true for all clients who own or have owned a website from Adriatic Services. Any and all commissions that a customer had due to them has always been paid promptly and never has one check bounced. How do I know you ask most of the time I worked for Adriatic Services, one of the many duties I took care of was payroll and website commissions, and after the checks were signed y the owner, I stamped and mailed the checks myself?

All I can say is Rip Off Report should do a bit more back ground on bogus reports like this before they post them. Potential customers could read this and then turn away from a good company, all because a past employee or someone who has an ax to grind with the owner.

In short, your two cents worth isn't worth crap. The real Shawn says to all reading, this report is 100% false and should not be given any notice at all. It was written by someone who is such a sissy; they don't even have the balls to put their real name when they complain abut something. What a chicken s**t!

I couldn't sit by and see more stupidity thrown on the internet. First of all, Shawn was a patsy. I didn't realize this until later down the road.

To let everyone be perfectly clear on the depth of the deception and fraud.

Web Cash Advantage was started in 2003. Millions of dollars were pilfered from old people and "victims" that they all laughed about. The only commissions that went out were to customers who were complaining.

In the fall of 2004, Web Cash Advantage was sold and the owners, Zack Agra and Dan Knezevic, opened another fraudulent scheme called "Global Net Warehouse." Same scam, different name. This time they headquartered out of Tempe, AZ.

After about 20 million in scams, Global Net Warehouse was sold and Zack Agra and Dan Knezevic put all their resources into Adriatic Services, an adult program first started by Dan Knezevic in 2002. To protect their names from Attorney General connecting them, they put the company, Adriatic Services, in the name of Goran Knezevic.

These are professional scam artists and all of them have felony records...figure that.

I used to vent on Shawn a lot when I was "victimized" at the hands of him and Web Cash Advantage. He was only a pawn.

Beware of Zack Agra, Dan Knezevic, and Goran Knezevic. They are evil people.

Rumor has it that they are emigrees from Serbia fleeing prosecution for war crimes in Bosnia. Figures.

It's to bad because the basic idea of these websites is very good and if the company would only address the problems at hand and support members,i do think that we could prosper in the future.
There are obvious problems with the internal workings of this company and it's members are paying the price.
I dont think that somebody would sign up for this programe and not work at it. I do understand that there will be different results for different people but this company should establish trust with it's members insted of ignoring them.

The picture that was painted for this program is much different than it's reality

Global Net Warehouse, Direct Wholesale Solutions, and Adriatic Services are in NO WAY connected to, or afiliated with, the current internet hosting company that owns YourAdultStore.net, Adriatic Internet Services. This is an entirely different LLC and owner,
as well as an entirely different staff, from any of the previous 3 companies named above. The current owners of YourAdultStore.net took over this company on the date of January 1, 2007. New owners, new staff, new LLC, new company.

The "former" employee, that commented previously about what he thought was the same company that he worked for in 2005 and 2006, is sadly mistaken. This ex-employee did attempt to make the transition into the new direction of the company, however was not able to perform up to the new level of expectations set by the new owners. This resulted in termination of employment, as would be the situation in any formal business environment.

As for our former, current, and future clients, please realize that this is a business "opportunity", not a business guarantee! It is designed in such a manner

Yes, this is definately the tricky part. There are virtually thousands and thousands of companies on the internet that will gladly do SOME of your marketing and advertising for your website. Yes, some of them cost money. a lot of money. and some of them are 100% FREE! And yes, we do also offer SOME marketing and advertising in-house, if you do decide that you want to do SOME of your marketing and advertising with our company.

But, PLEASE, PLEASE understand that we do expect you to use your business sense when making these business decisions. This does include any research, studies, market trends, pricing, etc., etc. Remember this is YOUR business to do whatever YOU think will work, and at the same time stay away from what you think will not work, in order to create, as well as maintain
the success that YOU are trying to achieve.

As with any new business, to start PROFITING from it can, and should, take some time.

**NEWS FLASH** Signing up with our company will not put a money tree in your backyard!! What IS necessary though, is multiple avenues and forms of marketing and advertising, with various companies, in various locations (internet and land based), for various amounts of money (FREE-$1,000,000)... and MOST importantly, on
a CONSISTENT basis!!

Some forms of marketing and advertising will work for some companies, and some will work for other companies. Your job, your ONLY responsibility in this business, is to find out which one(s) work for YOUR company. If you
try something that doesn't give you any results after a considerable amount of time, then you might want to adjust your campaign and/or try a different form, or location, or amount of money... make sense??

One more thing... we definately DO have clients making money with our program, and more importantly experiencing success at their standards! Unfortunately, they donot make a website where customers can praise the
companies that DO conduct good business. But considering the number of clients that we have, the number of unhappy customers is very realistic for the amount of business that we perform. WalMart is one of the most profitable businesses in the world, and yet they have
the most consumer complaints. I love WalMart! But as all business people know, "you can't please everyone". Just a reminder to those who think that they can run their own business... here's your "opportunity" (uhh, there's

You have somewhat confirmed what I already suspected. I have a couple of other websites that I use to sell amateur adult videos. One of them is just used for banner and sample clip storage and has NEVER been submitted to google or other search engines. Sadly, it ranks much higher on search engine rankings than my adultstore website does after repeated search engine submissions.

I have no problem with adriatic offering optional services at a price to help with my website marketing. However, if they are deliberately hindering my efforts to promote my website on my own in an effort to coerce me into spending more money with them they are flat out stealing from me. Not in $$$ as much as my time. I consider my time worth money. If anyone has any ideas on how we can force Adriatic to stop this practice, I am all ears.

First let me say that I was completely surprised to see these complaints against Adriatic Services since I could never find any info on them when I signed up. I became a client back in Nov. of 2006 and I have never been pleased, but I stuck in there.

I signed up for a 5000 prod. site, and 49.95 monthly. I was told I would be contacted by someone to guide me through all aspects of the marketing, site management, and getting my site map submitted. Big surprise!! All of that required MORE MONEY. They wanted $3,000 just to create a site map.

These names you others have mentioned are the same guys, Anthony and Darrin. I have never fell for any of the other extras. Also, anytime I had a problem I would call the customer service number, which by the way is the same number customers making purchases would call. How odd is that? A site owner used the same telephone number as customers?? Very strange..

When I would call with a problem they could never help or have the mysterious Darin or Anthony call and the conversation would end with them advising me to add on one of the extra paid services...I simply wanted to add a page counter. I required me to pay. Then I wanted to add links to the right side EMPTY box..They said I had to pay for that. Then I wanted to add links...They said I had to pay for that..
Then I would call and ask why I could not track packages..They then would add the info in the code..but it was never there without me calling.Only after they added it..

Also I was supposed to receive email notifications of sales. I never received any notification until after I would call to ask about a sale..

I wouldn't recommend this program for anyone. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO CLIENT SUPPORT AND THEY CONTINUE TO TRY AND GET THEIR CLIENTS TO PAY MORE FOR SERVIES THAT SHOULD ALREADY BE INCLUDED WITH ANY WEB HOSTING..

I know for a fact that a member tried SEO with a company other than adriatic and was told that there was a problem with her website. some kind of code was embeded that would prevent the website to reach the high rankings. and Adriatic would not help her when she contacted them about this problem.

I also had my website tested and was told that i had to many tags, that i have over 800 words and i should be under 500 not to conflict with the robots.

I dont know much about this but i have been submitting my website weekly to thousands of search engines for about 5 months and we are still ranked at about 6 000 000. I have also generated over 4000 hits with various campains and not a single sale at 10% markup

We can only see sales on our control panels if adriatic puts it there. We have no control over this. It's funny because my website is almost always out of stock.

I think i will contact securepay to see if i can find out if they are selling thru our websites and not telling us. it's almost impossible that i have not sold a single item with that many hits

I will have to say that Darrin was reasonable to deal with and did not use high pressure sales tactics on me. I asked him to lay out my options on product volume level and hosting in an e-mail and send it to me.

I like to see things in writing when making these decisions not just telephone sales hype. Darrin sent me the info and I decided to try a store at the 5,000 product level with a monthly charge of 49.95. My website was up and running fairly quickly and I had little trouble configuring it.

Then I received a call from Anthony who was supposed to be my marketing coach. Rather than a coach, he was totally high pressure sales. He was not willing to give me a URL of any of their successful websites. He also kept emphasizing the importance of search engine optimization also known as (SEO). He stated that to be succesful, my website needed their SEO "software" which would cost $10,000 but I would make that back easily in sales from my website.

I asked to see some demo of how this software worked or some sites where it had been used. When he was unwilling to provide this and i was just supposed to trust him, I knew there was no friggin way they were getting ANY of my money.
I have been able to figure out how their "software" is supposed to help my website appear toward the top of Google searches.

What I am concerned about is that my website does not appear very well in Google searches in spite of aggressive efforts on my part to help this. I cannot prove this, but I fear that youradultstore may have something coded in my website that hurts Google searches since I did not spend the $10,000 with them.

In summary, the only money I have spent was the initial fee and the hosting. I have not spent the big sums of money that other folks have mentioned on here. This is due to the fact that I have some understanding of website and internet marketing from other websites that I own. I feel sorry for you people out there that had less knowledge of this and fell for these high pressure sales tactics.

I will continue to operate my adultstore website using my own methods of promoting it. So far, sales on the site have been very disappointing, but I know that it takes 6-12 months to start getting results with a lot of these websites.
It is a shame that the youradultstore folks have to use these sales tactics on people.

If they would just put their efforts into helping their affiliates generate a lot of sales through their website, instead of just trying to get in their pocket for thousands of dollars and moving on to the next sucker, their name would not be appearing on a website such as this.

How can we invest more time and money with a company that totally ignores us. When i wrote to custommer service about Shawn in late January you replied saying he took another position with a new company and that you would call me the next day. well it' may now and i am still waiting for that call.

I would also like to know why i was not receiving the best possible prices for my website when i signed up. The last call i have received from your company was from Anthony telling me that i must spend $1000.00 in order to receive premium pricing if i hope to make a sale and that i could only obtain thru your company wich is always out of stock anyway.

Please tell the readers why so many members are paying different prices for the exact same services EX:another member has just posted paying $500.00 for a package that i paid $1000.00 for (and you wanted $5500.00)and another member who has posted here has paid $3000.00 for the same services and i know for a fact that one member was taken for $9000.00 and could not even cover the hosting fees(some people are paying 29/mth others 89/mth)

If a member can not even cover hosting fees after spending so much money with your company what does that tell me about your performance??

That member had to shut down and take the loss(probably what you wich we would all do)

Our controle panels still have the adriatic services header,so dont tell me that they have no part in this.
