Global Ocean Freight ripoff, dishonesty, broken/stolen goods, refuse to pay insurance Lauderhill Florida
Global Ocean Freight took 8 weeks to deliver our goods when they reported 4. They charged us $200 etra because they said the shipment was oversized -which it was, because it contained a box of trash that was not ours. They said they would pay the $300 port tax in Tokyo, but didn't. The box containing the computer equipment was missing (out of about 42 boxes). Many things were broken. They are now requiring an impossible amount of work to process the claim.

After finding out about the posting on this website, the CEO of Global Ocean Freight contacted me. They agreed to pay the insurance and the port fee charge. The oversize fee was determined not to be their fault. I'm quite satisfied with their handling of the situation now.
