On Jan 15th 2008, global collected my entire household from San Diego, CA for shipment to our new home in Spain.

Today is 114 days, still do not have any idea when or if we will ever receive anything.

Our possessions are being held hostage by another removal company
'Simpsons Removal & Shipping' in the UK.
They claim not to have been paid by Global.
They have had our possessions since April 11th.

They are not interested in finding a solution with us, as they claim that Global owe them so much money they can't.

Stephanie Bodner is completely unprofessional, she completely refuses to give any meaningful information, like when this will be resolved.

Eti Cohen does not answer emails, other than to say please give me a few days to look into this...then nothing.

They have a customer service email, but if you try to use that no person ever attaches their name to an email, they also request a few days to look into things then never reply.

If you call them, the messages go on endlessly about how commited they are to their customers, then no one will pick up or let you leave a voice mail! When I have managed to get an answer they put me on hold for 10+ minutes (I'm calling international). If I hang up and call again the person who answers the phone is rude and surly.

This company charge more after they have collected your things, they don't ship when they say they will, charge late charges even though payment was made in a timely manner. Then you still don't get your stuff.

Avoid these people. They have no morals or ethics, they do not care how much stress and suffering they cause their customers.

I just received my belongings after months and months, threaten to sue, it might help.

The problem is that there are always going to be victims as this company uses the money from new customers to pay off old debts, then belongings get released. Exactly the same scenario is being played over and over but if the company doesn't catch new victims, the ones who have not had their belongings delivered will lose out. Unless we come up with a solution then it's every man for himself. Now that my family has finally received their shipment, I'm contacting the newspapers, TV stations, Senators and whoever else I can think of to finally close this disgusting company down. I've also filed with the BBB in Florida and am contacting the Federal Maritime Commission.
Many shipping agencies around the world are now refusing to have any dealings with GOF. Your not covered in using them to move from State to State either as your money is just used for the previous customers shipments and your in for a long wait.
I just don't want another family to go through the heartache we went through.
