I was researching a company Global Polygraph Network to potentially get a polygraph test. They ask for a credit card which mine was charged $350.00. I saw this pending in my bank and was considering moving forward. After about a day I contacted them via email as they were trying to get me to schedule a date, time and location & told them that I don't want to schedule anything, can't move forward with this if they could please just refund my $350.00.

Michael Martin the person I was in communication with which I believe is the owern of this website told me that this is Non-Refundable and he'd fight with my credit card company to keep my funds. This company hasn't provided a products, they haven't provided a service...they simply collected my money & refuse to refund me because they say in their terms of service that its non-refundable.

I strongly URGE anyone considering using this company to not walk but RUN away from this scam. If they will fight this hard to keep my $350.00 while they haven't even provided the service what do you think they will do to you if you move forward with them? The website is a clear scam and the owner is very unprofessional looking for a fast buck. Sadly now I have to fight with my bank and credit card company to attempt to recoop my funds.

This company is a clear SCAM I'd run if you are even considering. I'm sure you can find a million different companies that are actually legit or I'd suggest just calling something local so you won't have to deal with an online scheme such as this.

Any company that has to refer to the "Terms of Service" and technicallity to steal $350.00 when they have provided no work, no product, no service not even a cancellation because i never picked a date to move forward .... is a clear scam. After easter I'll be moving foward with filing fraud claims and continuing persuing to receive my money back that was stolen.

Good luck if you are a potential customer hoping these guys were legit....they aren't. Not worth the risk.

This customer left out some very important information, as outlined below.

1.    Global Polygraph Network is a referral service.  We charge clients fees for a referral to our pre-qualified examiners, not for the exam itself (that is a second charge).  A referral is different than a polygraph.  This is clearly spelled out in our written Guarantee which can be found in several locations on our website - see , polytest.org/guarantee2.asp.

2.    While placing this referral request, the customer acknowledged reading and agreeing to our Refund Policy, which can be found in several locations on our website.  This policy states that the referral fee (initial deposit) is non-refundable.  In fact, the word “non-refundable” is intentionally presented in red capital letters in this policy so avoid any confusion.

3.    The only exception to our Refund Policy is if we fail to offer appointments within 30 days.  In this case, the client registered on 3/25 and we offered this customer appointment dates of 4/10, 4/17, 4/24, all within the 30 day limit, so we fulfilled our promise under the written Guarantee.

4.    Two days after registering and receiving the referral, the customer asked to cancel the request and requested her money back.  The customer says she changed her mind about taking the polygraph.  That part is understandable - people change their minds - but the fee she paid us is not for the polygraph.  She AGREED to that when she signed up, but became outraged that we did not make an exception for her and ignore our published policies that she AGREED to.

5.    Global Polygraph Network stands by our published Guarantee, and if we failed to fulfill our Guarantee in any way we will be happy to refund the client’s referral fee.  We don't hide our policies.  In fact we require every customer to agree to them.  Here is another link to our Guarantee - polytest.org/guarantee2.asp
