Global Prize You have won $45,000.00 Here is 1st check for $2,500.00. Thunder Bay Ontario
I received a letter from Global Prize Inc with a check for $2,500...a very real looking check. I immediately called the bank that it was drawn on and was told that that account is bogus. They called this a Nigerian scam.
I have also left a message for the local detectives to call me.
The letter says not to tell my local bank or Western Union of my winnings. It also says to contact them to arrange to get the rest of $45,000.00 prize. I have not called. I am waiting to see what the detectives want to do.
The bank told me that this scam really messes up peoples lives and ruins their credit.
