Get More People To Write Complaints !!!! Take Brian Oliver Down!!

I encourage every family of someone that is incarcerated that is forced to use the services of GTL Global Telelink to register a formal complaint on Global Tel*Link.
GTL Global Tel*Link exploits the adverse circumstances individuals who for whatever reason find themselves in a jail or prison, by blocking, intercepting and interfering with the rights of those incarcerated and their families and loved ones from communicating with one another. Brian Oliver and Dorothy Cukier should be held accountable by the FCC for their unscrupulous and hideous acts against humankind. I for one speak from experience.

I have a young family member who is serving time. My phone is somehow intercepted by Brian Oliver's GTL Global Telelink and I am forced to pay them ransom to use my own phone in order to take calls from this young man. I have made contact with Cox Communications my telephone provider and they advise me that my credit with them is sterling. Yet Brian Oliver, GTL- Global Telelink intercepts my calls, blocks them and somehow has the ability to force me to pay him up front money to allow me to use my own phone and exercise my rights as a citizen.

When I pay his company for example, $50.00 Brian Oliver, GTL-Global Telelink takes 20% off the top ($10.00) and puts it in his pocket. Then he charges me $4.75 to connect me to my party for every call and $1.74 a minute to use my own phone? He should be stripped of his financial holdings through a citizen's class action suit, held accountable by the FCC and fined or imprisoned accordingly for extorting the public and holding people's rights to use public utilities hostage. Believe me a million people going after this guy for $5,000.00 in damages each would send him packing to the poor house, if not put him behind bars.
PLEASE publish your complaints there are over a million of you out there. The editor of Rip Off Reports has the means to expose Brian Oliver, GTL-Global Telelink and his partner in crime Dorothy Cukier.

Global Tel*Link Tariffs: International and Interstate Tariffs Regulatory Department Ms. Dorothy Cukier Corporate Counsel & Director Regulatory Affairs.
Be sure to spell their company and personal names correctly; GTL Global Tel*Link, Brian Oliver and Dorothy Cutier. Individual complaints can multiply to pave the way to strip this man's ill-gotten finances and restore human decency to the rights to families and those incarcerated.

Bad experience Made Good by Global Tel Link

#3Consumer Suggestion

I have read many of the complaints against Global Tel Link, and until moments ago, I agreed with all of them. I prepaid through Western Union so that my husband could call me from Miami and speak to our 4 year old son at night. He was sent home after one night, and I never used the $40 I placed in the account. I requested a refund and that is when it went nuts! I was told becauase I used Western Union, I had to wait 90 days for my refund. I was also told by the Customer Service person that they processed my request and I didn't have to do anything except wait for 90 days. I waited. After 90 days, no money. I called again and was told I had to send something in writing. My account was even NOTATED that I was told I did NOT have to submit anything in writing. I submitted a written request and it was eventually processed, however, when I was told the check request had been submitted to Accounting and I would have to wait 60-90 days for my check, that was the last straw. I Googled the company's corporate address and phone number, and asked for the head of the company, who, as it turns out, is Brian Oliver. I called him directly and left voicemail. A couple of hours later, I received a call from one of his associates, Ms. Barry, who was as kind and gracious as anyone could ever expect. She expressed the dismay at my situation, and quickly resolved it by placing a credit back to my credit card. To my surprise, I DID receive a call from Mr. Oliver a couple hours later, who also expressed that they were working very hard to change the direction of the company and improve the customer service which was in very poor shape from the companies which were purchased by Global Tel Link. Just the fact that I received these phone calls demonstrate to me that this company has the DESIRE to be better. Although they BOTH admitted it should never have to come to a making a phone call to the CEO for satisfactory service, I was impressed at their response. They did not hide behind voicemail and secretaries, and handled me to my satisfaction. I ask that anyone experiencing customer service go to this company's corporate office directly 703-955-3910. Give them a chance. It may take time, but your issued will most certainly be resolved. I am living proof.
