Complaint Review: Global Tel*Link

NO PHONE SERVICE PHONE DISCONNECTED! My mother passed away 5 months ago & I had her phone disconnected at this time. The first month went by I paid the third party billing Phone Co., I also wrote to them that the phone was disconnected cause the ph#'s on the bill are unreachable. Next month came and their were another charge which I thought maybe it was made before the phone was cut off, and their was not any Previous Balance Due it was zero. I went ahead an paid it also and sent another note that I should not receive and more bills from them again, The next month came along I received another bill also with the previous charges being zero since the bill was so much lower this time I thought it might be some kind of disconnect charges, but again I sent another note on the bill and this time I was not so polite I was trying to make sure I did not receive any other bill Guess what I received another one Friday 4/29/10 this one actually with another phone charge and tried to say it was from months and months ago everyone of the bills I have received did not have any Previous Charges at all on them. This company is a total rip of service that the State of Georgia makes us use if we need to talk to an inmate in our Prison System. I think the State of Georgia needs to check out companies like this before they force people to use them especially since the phone numbers on the bills are unreachable! and the only way you can talk to them is by a fax number and I don't think most people have them I don't anyway!!! Please contact our GA Senators and Rep's.! Thanks so much!!!
