I wish I would have read these reports before I signed up with Global Timeshare Sales. I was called by Scott from Global timeshares. He promised my husband and I he already had a sale for timeshare lined up. I told him I was tired of being screwed by timeshare salesman, and he told me many times during the conversation he was on the up and up and he really did have a sale. Scott said we had to sign up with the company which would cost us $1350.00 before he could get the paperwork going. He told me to tell the person on the other end of the line that he did not have the sale, because he was not suppose to get the sale first and then contact sellers. Being naive I did as I was told. When I called the company today to see what was going on they told me they did not have a sale. I told them what Scott told me on the phone and all they could tell me was, I committed a felony by telling the person on the phone what their salesman had told me to say, and they were going to turn me in to the FTC for lying over the phone. By the sounds of it they are not going to do anything to their salesman. After reading their ripoff reports, all their sales people are telling the consumers the same thing. Something needs to be done about this company.

Global Timeshare Sales & Royal Elite Timeshare Scam

#2Consumer Comment

Tue, December 31, 2013

We listed our Royal Elite timeshare with Global Timeshare Sales in August of 2012. They were very friendly, persistent, and eager to give us great information regarding how quickly our week would sell. As you can see, it's been over a year and we've NEVER received a phone call regarding our listing. We've reduced the asking price several times and each time we did, it took more than 2 phone calls to get the price correct on the website. This company could care less about you once you give them your $600. I advise against anyone using them to "sell" your timeshare. If only we could get back the money we so willingly, so foolishly gave them...
