My husband wanted to go to the Global Vacation Network "upgrade" presentation.  We already enrolled years ago and didn't start using the product until a few years ago.  It has been ok.

I had an appointment and made it clear that after 90 minutes I was walking out.  We waited for 20 minutes for someone to take us back into a presentation room.  Then it took "Frankie" another 10  minutes to appear for the presentation.  I was already pissed. Frankie rambled for 20 minutes, repeating the same stuff over and over.  I stopped him and said "cut to the chase, I have to leave".  He apologized and started to repeat the same stuff over again.  I gave my husband the look.  I finally said, "I'm leaving in 5 minutes".  Frankie cut to the freebies, showing a sheet of paper of what we would get for signing up today.  He also circled the "best deals".  I left, and my husband ended up buying.

Long story short, I sent in paperwork for one free weekend package including airfare, another package including free airfare, and the 7 night package (we are responsible for airfare).  The gift providers have so many black out dates that you can hardly schedule and free airfare doesn't exist.  They said I had to go back to Global because, "we aren't responsible for their advertising".  I'd sent a copy of the sheet we got from Frankie.  I'm going to Global this week.  I hope to see Frankie and his boss.
