After responding to a notice in mail that we received 2 free airline tickets and 3 days vacation  plus other gifts.  We were told to call an 800 number where I was given an address where I needed to attend a 90min presentation to hear how to save money on travel.  We were assured there was no hard sell.

We were met by professional looking people, filled out forms, endured a less than amusing 90 min presentation where at the end we were told it would cost of $9900 to save money on travel accommodations for the rest of our lives.   After that, we were each met by an individual that had obviously read our profile report and targeted each couple with the hard sell.  That took another 45 minutes.  At that time we very politely said this was not something we were interested in.  We were promised we would then receive the gift of free tickets and 3 days at a resort if not interested.

Here is where it gets interesting.  The "supervisor" then appeared, at first pleasant then began insulting his salesman for not getting the deal done, he then proceeded to insult and bully us.   He actually acused us for wasting his salesman's time and wondered why we even bothered to show up if we weren't interested in their offer. Which seemed amusing since no one tells you what the presentation is about!  He then lowered the offer to $2600 and dramatically pounded the table and walked out.

We were escorted out by the original Salesman, claiming he'd never seen his boss do that before...   The final blow was, we were handed the "free gifts" - a voucher from Millennium Travel in Port Orange Fl, the terms and conditions were so ridiculous we would never dare sending in our voucher to collect.  Oh, and did I mention it required $100 to redeem your free tickets?  No, they got us for 2+ hours of our time, but not a dime of our money.

I am sad for the couples in the room that night that wrote out checks for $9,900!
