At&t advised that if I wanted insurance on my new phone, I would have to go with Global Warranty. I paid the fee they required. I lost my phone and called to get a replacement.  I called At&t first to put a stop on my phone line.  I called Global to file a claim.  When I first called they said I did not exist and would have to find out why I paid and was not in their system, and they would call me back.

Two days later and never received a phone call. I called them but could not get thru. Tried 12 times and they kept hanging up on me. I called the next day, after talking to them for 20 minutes I finally was able to get them to show I did exist.  I went around and around with them to finally they sent me to the claim department.

I advised that I wanted to file a claim to get a replacement since I lost the phone. They said I had to file a police report, fax to them, they would call the police department to verify and then once it was approved I would have to pay 75.00 and would receive a new phone within 3 days. 

I went to the police department and they said losing a phone was not a crime and would not file the report.  I went to three different police departments in three different towns were finally they said they would do it for me. So I faxed the report and called the next day.  They stated they never received it. I am going to fax over again, and call them.  The run around to totally unexceptable.
