I too, have fallen victim to www.globalreplica.com recently to their online Rolex watch scam in which I am out $550. I thought I had done my online research and they were recommended higher then other fake Rolex watch merchants on the Net (I guess it depends on who authors the reviews).

On November 3, 2005, I ordered 2 Rolex watches. The payment option on their site is either credit card or COD. I opted the cc route thinking that if it is a scam I can dispute the charges and have to cc company prosecute if necessary. About a week went by and I received an email from GlobalReplica stating that there was a problem with my cc transaction and to call Ryan Thompson, Sales Manager at this number (917) 346 4063. It took about a week to do so since his voice mailbox was always full and unable to leave message. That should have been my first clue. I finally got through and when I asked why his mailbox is always full, he responded that there are 3 different salesmen and they do about 200 order requests a day. I was encouraged to do a COD transaction payable to John Frank which included 2-day air delivery at no charge. I have never ordered COD in my life before because of the above stated cc protection. But Ryan sounded reputable over the phone so I proceeded.

As he had committed, my watches did arrive 2-day FedEx on November 15th. However, the watches were no where close to what I had ordered in which we had discussed 2 days before. This should have been my 2nd clue. The package included return information to the attention of Mark Shilling at 1710 First Ave. #283, NY, NY 10128, should I be dissatisfied. I left many phone calls to Ryan stating what had happened and promptly returned the watches on November 17 via 2-day air thinking this would speed up the order. I also sent numerous emails to sales@globalreplica.com inquiring on status, but they were left unanswered, (my 3rd clue). I found 2 other telephone numbers to call regarding orders to GlobalReplica, 609/247-1991 and 347/220-3417. Unfortunately they too were either not receiving telephone calls at the moment or mailbox was full.

It is now going on 7 weeks and no watches or refund. I am going to call the Attorney General's office and file a fraud complaint against them. Any other suggestions out there? They should be fined and thrown in jail for deceiving innocent victims.

It has been 3 years since I got scammed and I can not believe these guys are still in business! I'm amazed of all the hits a search produced on these SOB's! I tried to follow thru with the Attorney General's office and Better Bureau's in 2 states without success. I really do understand why they can not be shut down. Can a collective audience file class action suits against these guys, or do we need to send a suicide bomber package in return?

Just by selling counterfeit watches they can be "fined and thrown in jail". "Innocent victim", what you call the watch companies that are getting ripped off by these crooks. One step further, the people who buy or attempt to buy these couterfeit watches. Stick with a timex.
