Globotic ripoff Extremely Cheap Gas Powered Scooter Store Sold structurally defective scooter, company continues to ignore us, manufacturer disclosed frame defect. Atlanta Georgia
Bought gas powered scooter from Globotic,Inc.and took delivery January,2004. Frame broke during normal riding in February resulting in significant damage and rendering scooter inoperable.
Numerous e-mails, calls, letters about this problem produced no result until we filed with the BBB of Alanta in May. Globotic did not respond to their inquiry.
Spoke with manufacturer in March and was informed of a structural defect in the frame. Shared this information with Globotic, but they have ignored this fact. They offered, but never sent parts for us to repair the scooter--not even knowing the full extent of the damage to the scooter. We are not even sure what parts are required to make it safe to ride.
Globotic has not responded to our concerns and six months later, our son is still without use of his scooter, which he paid for himself. This company does not back up their products and has the poorest customer service. We are stuck with a defective product and continue to be ignored. Buyer beware!
