Complaint Review: Glow

My complaint is almost exactly the same as that of Judy in Massachusettes, complaint #457595. This company, GLOW, located in Valencia, California, advertized a free trial and all I had to pay was $3.95 for shipping. Then, they charged my credit card over $90 and sent me a whole set of makeup a couple of months later with a bill for approximately $70!

I now understand that this is common practice on the internet; however, I feel that it is misleading. These charges have come at a time when I can least afford them. I hate having to be on guard against these sharks and would like to think that a business owner would not knowingly seek to make a sale in such a sly manner. Silly me!
