GMAC. Ditech Forced escrow, late payments, accussed me of not having insurance, violated my bankruptsy protection, and unjustly tried to forclose on my home ripoff Phoenix Arizona
Two years after my Chpt 13 bankruptsy, GMAC created and force placed a tax escrow on my account. They paid my taxes that were being paid through my protection plan. My mortgage payments increased from 800 to 1500 per month.
GMAC reported me late to the credit bureaus about 20 out of 24 months, even though I've never missed a payment and never have been late. As a result they forced me to refinance with a unfavorable rate.
I bought my home 5 years ago for 92,000. I owed 86,000, but after all their escrows and late fees, and "other" charges, my payoff amount was 97500.
A very helpful resource is the department of financial institutions and Fox 6 consumer reports.
I stopped them by refinancing, but they tried to destroy me. I do plan on sueing them. Someone mentioned that lawyers are scared of them, but we have to stop this from happening. At one point GMAC has people taking pictures of my home. DO you have any idea how terrorizing that is? They must be stopped!
