MY TRUCK WAS REPOED EVEN AFTER I HAD SENT PAYMENT. PAUL WITH GMAC HAS BEEN MAKING MY LIFE HARD.

THE DAY AFTER I HAD MADE PAYMENT MY TRUCK WAS REPOED. I HAD CALLED ,BUT IT HAPPEND ON THE WEEKEND. SO I WAITED TELL THE FELLOWING MONDAY.

I HAD CALLED PAUL AND EXPLAIN WHAT HAD HAPPEN. I SENT PAYMENT AND MY TRUCK GET RepoED ANYWAY. HE EXPLAIN IT WAS TO LATE AND THE MONEY HAS NOT POSTED.

NOW WE HAVE TO FELLOW PROCEDERS. BUT, I HAD TOLD HIM I SENT THE MONEY AND WANT MY TRUCK BACK.HE TOLD ME THEY WOULD NOT TRY TO CASH IT.

WELL THEY TRIED. BUT BECAUES I HAD BELIVED HIM. I TOOK THE MONEY OUT ON WESTERN UNION IT TO HIM. THAT WAS A WEEK AGO. I HAVE DID EVERY THING ON MY PART OF WHAT THEY ASK OF ME.

FILLED OUT THEIR REPORT,GET THE POLICE REPORT,PROOF OF INSURANCE AND DOUBLE THE MONEY.

NOW, I AM GETTING THE RUN AROUND. I FEEL MUST HAVE SOME KIND OF RIGHTS. EVER SINCE MY TRUCK HAS BEEN TOOKEN AWAY LIFE IS BEEN HARD.

I CAN FOUCSED ON WORK ,SCHOOL, AND HAVE TROBLE SLEEPING. I FEEL GMAC BETTER FIX THEIR SERIVCE AND THEY WAY THEY RUN THEIR PROCEDERS.

I HOPE YOU CAN HELP ME. ALL I WANT IS MY TRUCK BACK. IF NOT GETTING BACK WHY DON'T THEY JUST TELL ME FROM THE GET GO.INSTEAD OF SENDING ALL THE BOGUES LETTER OF HOW TO GET MY TRUCK BACK,

Hello Eric:

I just had my van repod today.


I talked to a rep on the 4th of May and we made an agreement I could make to payments for March and April this Friday, the 14th of May. She gave me the numbers for posting, etc.

Then today, I went in my driveway and found a tow truck hooking up my van. I told the GMAC rep. and he seemed surprised when I brought out my calendar with notes and names and numbers, but said he couldn't release the vehicle because it was already hooked up.

I called the rep number where I made the agreement to pay day after tomorrow. Their notes said something about me trading the van in and nothing about the conversation with Anna.

I asked why Anna had not told me of the urgency because I would have taken $ out of savings. He said they can't "threaten" repossession. I would not have taken it as a threat, just appropriate notification. The CA laws have changed and it is not necessary to notify the consumer re: repossession. The GMAC rep said they are only allowed to ask for payment. WOW

Laws need to be changed to protect the consumer more. This seems deceptive to me. I can prove the agreement because I have specific numbers to send the payment via moneygram that i could not have gotten any other way.

Big businesses are slowly squeezing the middle class into oblivion.

If anyone knows of consumer sites to contact legal reps to change laws to be more fair to consumers in vehicle loans or any other financial
consumer advocacy, please let me know.
